King & Queen Elementary School
King & Queen County, VA

In front of a packed house at King & Queen Elementary School. NWA Fusion presented the biggest professional wrestling event of the year in the state of Virginia, Shanghai Showdown.

A1 d. Sanchezzz & Krotch
Prior to the match A1 announced that because of their inability to defeat Chambers & Day for the Tag Team Titles they had a change of heart and realized that maybe taking shortcuts and cheating wasn't the way to be the best. They wrestled the match in a different style and shook their opponents had after the contest.

Sabbath won the Ultimate Jeopardy Match over Diamond Victor Griff & Big Time Mike Booth by pinning Victor Griff. Sabbath earned a shot at the NWA Continental Title. Victor Griff will be unable to challenge for any title in NWA Fusion for one year.

NWA Alpha Title Match
Ladder Flag Match
"The War Horse" Larry Horsley d. Sheik Kassir Assad to retain the title. After the match The War Horse finally buried Sheik Kassir Assad under the American Flag.

NWA Fusion Tag Team Title Match
"Everything's Better With" Aden Chambers & Brandon Day d. The Society of Ventrue via DQ when A1 interfered with Jeff Early attacking Brandon Day. All three teams brawled after the match and their appeared to be some tension between Early & Hilton as well.

Hair vs. Hair
"The Zaniac" Ryan Zane d. Big MC 123 with the Sleeper Hold. After the match, Big MC tried to escape the haircut only to be stopped by NWA Fusion General Manager Spencer Chestnutt and told that if he did not get his head shaved he would be fired. Big MC reluctantly agreed and was tied down to the chair and shaved BALD by Ryan Zane.

NWA Continental Title Match
Street Fight
"The Pain Train" Preston Quinn d. The Mempho Mofo to win the NWA Continental Title. The Pain Train ended The Mofo's 609 Day reign as the Continental Championship with the Paradigm Shift Powerbomb. After the match, the locker room emptied to congratulate the Pain Train. As they were shaking hands the Mofo's Rapture compatriots A1 came to the ring to help their fallen leader. Hilton and Early helped the Mofo to his feet as Quinn continued to celebrate with his friends. Finally Quinn turned and he and the former champion faced off. Never taking his eyes off the Championship Title that he called his "Lady Love" the Mofo extended his hand to the new champion. Unsure of his long time rival Quinn thought about it for a second then reached his hand out to the former champion, but instead of taking it The Mofo spat on Quinn's hand and quickly left the ring. The Pain Train shook off this insult and returned to the raucous celebration. Once the ring cleared the New Continental Champion took the mic and thanked the fans of NWA Fusion for being their tonight and for believing in him and he promised to bring honor and prestige to the Continental Title.

Brandon Day d. Billy Lit with a Roaring Elbow

"The Pain Train" Preston Quinn was interviewed by NWA Fusion General Manager, Spencer Chestnut, about his Street Fight for the Continental Title at Shanghai Showdown. The Pain Train was interrupted by the Mofo who pointed out that tonight was the last chance for anyone to claim the $5,000 Bounty, but he was confident that he had motivated "The Canadian Lion" Lance Erikson and "The Experience" Damien Wayne to do exactly that. At that moment, DW and Lance came to ringside. They declared themselves the NEW Old School Empire then Lance Erikson said that tonight's match between himself and Preston Quinn wasn't about winning it was about claiming the bounty and he didn't feel like waiting for the match he wanted to claim it now. Erikson and Wayne attempted to surround The Pain Train, but before they could attack, "Big Time" Mike Booth shocked the NWA Fusion crowd when he ran from the back and slid into the ring with his friend, The Pain Train. Preston Quinn explained that he had called his true blood brother and Big Time told him that he'd like nothing more than to beat some sense into The Experience. Big Time then challenged DW to face him right there at Throwdown Before Showdown. Damien Wayne refused saying that Mike Booth was just like Preston Quinn, a non-champion and therefore he had nothing to offer The Experience. NWA Fusion General Manager, Spencer Chestnutt, then intervened and said that he had something to offer The Experience. Either DW would wrestle Mike Booth tonight or he would cancel Lance Erikson's match with Preston Quinn tonight and kick both of them out of the building and they could kiss any chance they had to claim the $5,000 good bye. After conferring with Lance Erikson, Wayne reluctantly accepted the match.

Sabbath d. Da Gift with a Powerbomb

"The Experience" Damien Wayne battled "Big Time" Mike Booth to a double disqualification when both Lance Erikson and Preston Quinn interfered.

"The War Horse" Larry Horsley d. Sheik Ali Akbar
After the match, Horsley said that he had had enough of Sheik Ali Akbar and Sheik Kassir Assad disrespecting the United States of America and the flag of the United States of America and at Shanghai Showdown he will end this feud with Sheik Kassir Assad when he beats him in the Ladder Match and buries him under the flag of the United States of America.

"The Pain Train" Preston Quinn d. "The Lion" Lance Erikson with a school boy roll up.
After the match, "The Experience" Damien Wayne attacked "The Pain Train" and he and "The Lion" tried to piledrive Preston Quinn on the time keeper's bell, but "Big Time" Mike Booth ran to the ring. Booth, Wayne and Erikson brawled all the way to the back, but as Preston Quinn rose to his feet he was attacked from behind and hit with a Memphis Mafia Kick by The Continental Champion, The Mempho Mofo. The Mofo swore that he was happy that Preston Quinn had survived and no one had claimed the bounty because that meant that he would get to beat up The Pain Train and end his dream of being Continental Champion once and for all at Shanghai Showdown. The Mofo then said he had one more thing to give Preston Quinn before next week. The Mofo set up for one more Mafia Kick, but this time The Pain Train was able to catch the kick spin The Mofo around and nearly decapitate the champion with the Derailer Lariat.
The Mofo rolled out of the ring and The Pain Train took the microphone and swore that at Shanghai Showdown he would end the Mofo's reign of terror because he like everyone else was sick of The Mofo sick of his cheating, sick of his dirty tricks, sick of his 20 minute long promos and all that would end next Saturday at Shanghai Showdown when he beats the Mofo for the Continental Title.

After the match Big MC 123 again tried to hit Zane with his big splash, but missed and was dropkicked out of the ring. Big MC received a phone call from his friend and Zane's arch-enemy Marcus Dowling. Marcus convinced Big MC to challenge Zane to a hair vs. hair match at Shanghai Showdown. Big MC thought it would be Dowling's hair on the line, but Dowling told Big MC that it would be Big MC's beloved 'fro on the line.

Preston Quinn d. by DQ over Boris Dragoff when Dragoff hit Quinn with his chain. Dragoff was more focused on claiming the $5000 Bounty then winning the match.
After the match the Mempho Mofo attacked Quinn from behind. The Continental Champion and The Soviet Star beat down Quinn until The Pain Train dodged a Dragoff clothesline and it struck the champion. Just when Quinn regained the advantage, Damien Wayne came through the crowd to attack Quinn in hopes of earning the $5000 bounty but just as he was about to piledrive Quinn, Day and Chambers saved Quinn. The Society of Ventrue then hit the ring and brawled with Day and Chambers all the way to the back.
After all that the only ones left in the ring were The Soviet Star and The Pain Train. The Pain Train got the best of Boris Dragoff, but the Mofo snuck into the ring behind the Pain Train and hit him with Two Memphis Mafia kicks. Dragoff held Preston Quinn while the Mofo wrapped Dragoff's chain around his arm, but before the champion could strike his top contender a familiar song player over the sound system. The Mofo looked up the ramp in shock as a man dressed in a Union Jack mask appeared holding a chair. The video on the screens called him "The Hooligan." The Mofo and The Soviet Star bailed out of the ring leaving The Pain Train and The Hooligan standing alone.

Outlaw Ink d. Krotch & Beau Crockett via Pinfall after using their cowbell behind the referees back.

This match was originally scheduled to be a Double Bullrope Match between Da New Bloodz and Outlaw Ink, but an injury forced that match to be postponed. Krotch and Beau Crockett step

ped in to face "No Class" Sam Bass and "The Tattooed Technician" Ryan Nuzzi and for quite a while it appeared the first time team would score the win. Outlaw Ink, however, was able to trap young Beau Crockett in the ring for a long period of time before Crockett could finally tag Krotch back into the match legally. Krotch ran wild on both of his opponents, until Crockett showed his inexperience by entering the ring to go after Sam Bass while Krotch had Ryan Nuzzi pinned. The referee was distracted by Crockett and Sam Bass capitalized and struck Krotch in the back of the head with his cowbell. The referee got Crockett out of the ring just in time to turn around around and see Nuzzi cover Krotch for the win.

"Mr. Mid Atlantic" Damien Wayne d. "The Soft Spoken Psychopath" Pat Cusick via pinfall holding the ropes for leverage.

This contest was a rematch of a match won by disqualification by Pat Cusick in October when Mr. Mid-Atlantic resorted to a low blow to escape The Long Kiss Goodnight Sleeperhold. For much of the match it appeared the "The Soft Spoken Psychopath" would again emerge victorious this time with a clear victory, the former Continental Champion was able to escape defeat at every turn. The match became much more back and forth as Cusick scored with a top rope superplex and Wayne hit a huge elbow drop from the top rope then Cusick blasted Wayne with his death valley driver. Wayne managed to escape the final three count by getting his foot on the bottom rope. Cusick went for the DVD again, but Wayne elbowed his way free. "Mr. Mid-Atlantic" rolled up "The Soft Spoken Psychopath" and grabbed the middle rope for leverage out of the view of referee Todd Myers. The leverage was just enough for Wayne to score the victory.

NWA Fusion General Manager Spencer Chestnutt came to the ring and confirmed that after winning Civil War in Gloucester last month, "The Pain Train" Preston Quinn cashed in his Continental Title Shot and would receive it at Battle For The Belt 2 on January 12th in Gloucester, VA. Chestnutt then added that after review footage of the Mofo's title reign he saw the champion save his title by being disqualified on several occasions. Spencer then stated that after consulting with the NWA Board of Directors, the following stipulation had been added to the main event at Battle For The Belt 2, if the champion is disqualified he will LOSE his title.

"Diamond" Victor Griff d. Brandon Scott with the Diamondback Deathlock

These two men met several months ago in NWA Fusion and Brandon Scott was determined to achieve the victory that had escaped him on that day. He dominated the early going of the match with his speed to the point that some in the crowd speculated that getting knocked out with the Continental Title and beaten up last month may have gotten in Griff's head and thrown him off his game. Late in the match when Scott hit a high cross body off the top turnbuckle it looked like huge upset was about to be scored. Griff barely managed to kick out before the three count, but when Scott followed up with a sunset flip, "Diamond" Victor Griff slickly countered the move into his deadly Diamondback Deathlock submission for the tapout victory.

"The War Horse" Larry Horsley d. Sheik Kassir Assad to regain the NWA Alpha Title via pinfall.

"The Pain Train" Preston Quinn, 'Everything's Better With" Aden Chambers & Brandon Day d. The Mempho Mofo & A1 when Preston Quinn made Zak Hilton submit.

The first steel cage match in the history of NWA Fusion had the fans on their edge of their seats throughout the contest and both teams risked life and limb to win the match with Chambers, Day, Early and Hilton particularly putting everything on the line. At one point, Day belly to belly superplexed Hilton from the top of the cage. Later, after all three members of the Rapture were hung upside down from the cage, The Mofo was able to break free and deliver a low blow to Preston Quinn and slam Brandon Day from the top turnbuckle this was followed by Zak Hilton huricanranaing Aden Chambers from the top of the cage and Jefferson Early following that with The G6 Elbow from the top of the cage. The Rapture took this opportunity to get handcuffs thrown into the cage by Marcus Dowling. They cuffed Day and Chambers to the cage leaving Quinn to fight all three men on his own. "The Pain Train" was able to gain a momentary advantage and whip Jefferson Early into Brandon Day who somehow wrapped Early in a triangle choke and choked him unconscious. The Mofo and A-Lister soon took control again and began to unload with repeated shots to his face with a pair of handcuffs. Finally, Quinn was able to move and the Mofo struck Hilton. Quinn took the opportunity to cuff Hilton then trap the Mofo in the ropes. Quinn then ran Hilton repeatedly into the cage until he could take no more and The A-Lister was forced to submit.

After the match The Rapture trapped special guest referee, Marky D, in the ring and gave him a terrible beating. Jefferson Early and Marcus Dowling kept anyone from getting climbing the cage while The Mofo hit Marky repeatedly with a steel chair. Eventually, The Mofo wrapped a chair around Marky's head and threatened to crush it with a second chari when a masked man ran came through the crowd, climbed the cage and attacked The Rapture. The Rapture climbed the cage to escape and the masked man was revealed to be Sean Denny. Sean stared down the Rapture until they returned to the backstage area then helped his brother to his feet and turned to leave the cage. Marky D took the microphone and begged his brother for forgiveness for all of his mistakes. At first Sean rebuked his brother before finally offering his brother his hand, Marky took it and the brothers embraced. After two years of feuding, The Geordie Bulldogs were reunited.

NWA Fusion Civil War
11-17-2012
Gloucester Moose Lodge
Gloucester, VA

NWA Fusion General Manager Spencer Chestnutt opened the event by calling all of the competitors to the ring. As a wrestler's name was pulled from the bag he got in the ring to find out who his partner and opponents would be before heading back to the dressing room after all of the names for a match were called. Af

ter several surprising teams were chosen and all of wrestlers returned to the backstage area, Spencer Chestnutt introduced the night's very special guest, Santa Claus. Santa passed out gifts and candy to the fans in attendance for several minutes. Suddenly, "The Pain Train" Preston Quinn, "Everything's Better With" Aden Chambers and Brandon Day came to the ring. They questioned Spencer Chestnutt's choice of Marky D as the special referee for War Games at The Fight Before Christmas on December 8th and speculated that Marky D was not to be trusted and this could all be a big plan from The Rapture and War Games would end up as a handicapped match. Spencer Chestnutt said that he choose Marky D not because he looked him in the eyes and he believes that he has changed, but also because neither team liked him which made him the perfect referee for War Games.

Random Draw Matches:

"The War Horse" Larry Horsley & "The Zaniac" Ryan Zane d. "Number One" Jefferson Early & Da Curse
"The A-Lister" Zak Hilton & Eddie Cannon d. Da Gift & Beau Crockett

At this point, Santa Claus came to ringside again and passed out more presents and candy.

"The Pain Train" Preston Quinn & "No Class" Sam Bass d. Raymond King & Johnny Liberty
"Diamond" Victor Griff & "Everything's Better With" Aden Chambers d. "The Soft Spoken Psychopath" Pat Cusick & "The Tatooed Technician" Ryan Nuzzi

Spencer Chestnutt again welcomed Santa Claus to ringside and this time St. Nick had several NWA Fusion DVDs for the fans. Spencer was about to announce the next match when he was interrupted by The Rapture. The Mempho Mofo, Jefferson Early & Zak Hilton hit the ring. They proceeded to run down how much they hated the decision to make Marky D the special referee for War Games. After going back for several minutes, The Rapture stated that the only thing they hated more was Santa Claus. They called Santa into the ring. Kris Kringle wasn't sure about how to enter a wrestling ring, but eventually managed to get in. The Mofo told Santa that the only gift he wanted was for Santa to have the decency to not show up until after Thanksgiving. The Continental Champion then turned his attention to Spencer Chestnutt. He told Chesnutt that there was actually one person who would be a worse choice to referee War Games then Marky D and that person would be Santa Claus. The Mofo turned to face Santa and St. Nick shocked the fans by nailing him over the red with his bag of toys. A1 couldn't believe their eyes and before they could react, Santa jumped out of the ring. As Early and Hilton tended to their fallen leader, Santa removed his hat, wig and beard to reveal that it was not Santa Claus it was Marky D. Marky took the microphone that at The Fight Before Christmas, he would call the match down the middle, but tonight was for his brother, Sean.

Brandon Day & Tremmor d. Krotch & Curtis Mack

Sterling Williams d. Big MC 123

"The Pain Train" Preston Quinn won the Civil War Battle Royal featuring the winners of all the Random Draw Matches: "No Class" Sam Bass, "The War Horse" Larry Horsley, "The Zaniac" Ryan Zane, "The A-Lister" Zak Hilton, Eddie Cannon, "Diamond" Victor Griff, "Everything's Better With" Aden Chambers, Brandon Day, Tremmor, and Sterling Williams. By winning the Battle Royal, "The Pain Train" Preston Quinn won the right to challenge for the Continental Title on any occasion. "The Pain Train" choose to announce that he didn't want to wait and if there was anything left of the Mofo after War Games at the Fight Before Christmas on December 8th he would beat The Mofo for the Continental Title when NWA Fusion returns to Gloucester, VA and the Gloucester Moose Lodge on January 12th at Battle for the Belt 2.

NWA Fusion Meltdown
11-10-2012
King and Queen Elementary School
King and Queen County, VA

Spencer Chestnutt announced that Damien Wayne would not be in the building as scheduled because Damien Wayne has stated that his goal is to become the NWA World Champion and he doesn't care if he disappoints the fans of NWA Fusion. He only cares about the NWA World Heavyweight Title. Damien Wayne has also gone to the NWA Board of Directors to complain about "The Pain Train" Preston Quinn and in order to protect the Number One contender for the NWA World Title, The NWA Board of Directors has ruled that if Preston Quinn lays a hand on Damien Wayne outside of an officially sanctioned match, then Preston Quinn will NEVER get another shot at the NWA World Heavyweight Title.

"The Soft Spoken Psychopath" Pat Cusick d. Big MC 123 with the Long Kiss Goodnight Sleeperhold. After the match, Cusick challenged Damien Wayne to face him at Fight Before Christmas if he won't face Preston Quinn.

"The Zaniac" Ryan Zane d. S12 with a Double Arm DDT. Zane was originally scheduled to face Mr. Mid-Atlantic Damien Wayne in a match in which he would be a decided underdog. Instead, he faced the returning S12 and managed to pick up his second win in NWA Fusion after a hard fought contest.

"The Pain Train" Preston Quinn d. Tremmor with the Spinebuster. Tremmor debuted in NWA Fusion and took the fight to "The Pain Train," but was unable to survive Preston Quinn's patented Spinebuster. After the match, Preston Quinn addressed the Damien Wayne situation. PQ reiterated that Damien Wayne has declared that he won't face Preston Quinn because Preston Quinn doesn't have anything that "Mr. Mid-Atlantic" wants, but if PQ wins the Continental Title then Damien Wayne will have no excuse, but to face him one on one. Getting the Continental Title means going through the Mofo, the man who hit PQ in the face with three championship belts last month at Meltdown. PQ plans to win Civil War next week in Gloucester then team with Aden Chambers and Brandon Day to win War Games and send a message to the Mofo and The Rapture. At this point, Marky D came to the ring. He once again asked Preston Quinn if he could be in his team's corner at War Games and start to rebuild what he destroyed with his bad decisions. Just as he did last month, Preston Quinn told Marky D that he was not the same Pain Train. He's not so trusting anymore so no he does not want Marky D in his corner at War Games.

Sam Bass & Sanchezzz won and Incredible Partners Tag Team Match over Ryan Nuzzi & Brandon Day, Jefferson Early & Krotch, and Zak Hilton & Aden Chambers. As a result of winning the match, Sam Bass and Sanchezzz receive a bye into the Civil War Battle Royal. This contest of unusual partners turned even more chaotic when referee Kevin Burr was distracted by most of the competitors in the match fighting outside of the ring. In the ring, Sam Bass looked to hit Krotch with his Cowbell, but Da New Bloodz hit the ring to prevent it. Da Curse managed to wrestle the cow bell away from No Class and hit the cowboy with it. DNB slipped back out of the ring, but Zak Hilton prevented Krotch from scoring the pin fall. After more commotion led to a series of dives to the outside. Referee Kevin Burr was again outside of the ring. In the ring, Jefferson Early set up for the Straight Shot Superkick on Sanchezzz only for Marky D to run to the ring and nail Early with the Knockout Punch. Early fell victim to the STO from Sanchezzz and the team of Sam Bass and Sanchezzz scored the victory.

"The War Horse" Larry Horsley d. Butch Beauchamp with the Horse Collar Crossface, but Beauchamp has informed NWA Fusion that according the Butch Beauchamp Scoring System he was victorious 24-11.

Sabbath & Sheik Kassir Assad d. Da New Bloodz after Da Curse fell victim to a shot with the Cow Bell from Sam Bass. Just when it looked like Da New Bloodz had the match won. Outlaw Ink hit the ring. Ryan Nuzzi distracted referee Kevin Burr and Sam Bass was able to hit Da Curse with the Cowbell. After the match, Sabbath, Sheik Kassir Assad and Outlaw Ink all continued to attack DNB until Larry Horsley hit the ring armed with a steelchair. Horsley cleared the ring then reminded Sheik Kassir Assad that he would no longer be able to run from him because at The Fight Before Christmas on December 8th, The War Horse will finally get his rematch for the Alpha Title. DNB then took the mic and said that they were sick of getting hit with cowbells and they wanted a match with Outlaw Ink. Outlaw Ink accepted their challenge, but only if it was a Double Bullrope Match. DNB accepted.

In the Main Event for the NWA Continental Title, "Diamond" Victor Griff d. The Mempho Mofo by disqualification. The fans of NWA Fusion didn't know with whom to side as this contest went on. The Mofo dominated the early part of the match with wrestling before Griff took over with brawling tactics. Eventually the Mofo focused on Griff's left arm looking to weaken it to the point The Diamond could not apply the Diamondback Deathlock. Griff targeted The Mofo's neck in order to make his patented chokehold more effective. After several attempts, Griff finally locked in the Deathlock and seemed to have the match won after dragging the champion back to the center of the ring. Just when it appeared the title was changing hands Marcus Dowling grabbed the Continental Title and held it up before the Mofo's eyes. Inspired by his championship, The Mofo managed to barely pull himself to the ropes. Angered by being forced to break his hold, but emboldened by seeing his opponent nearly helpless, Diamond Victor Griff didn't take advantage. He dragged the Mofo to the center of the ring and forced the champion to clap for himself. After releasing the champion, Griff cockily stalked around the ring, but The Mofo was almost awakened by the humiliation. He came to his feet with a look of grim determination on his face. When Griff turned around the Mofo was all over him with right hands then took Griff to the corner and beat all the way to the mat. Referee Kevin Burr pulled the champion away and when the champion returned to go after Griff, the challenger grabbed him and reversed him into the corner and beat the champion down. The two men exchanged a series of shot until finally Griff appeared get the advantage. At this point Marcus Dowling slipped the Continental Title into The Mofo and when Griff pushed referee Burr out of the way the champion struck the challenger in the face with the belt and was disqualified.
The Mofo threw the challenger from the ring and he was helped to the back while the Mofo demanded a microphone. The champion then called out his Rapture teammates A1. With the entire Rapture in the ring, they demanded that NWA Fusion General Manager Spencer Chestnut answer the one question that had been left unanswered about War Games at The Fight Before Christmas who would be the referee. Spencer stated that it would not be Todd Myers. It would not be Kevin Burr. It would not be Scott Williams or any other NWA Fusion official. Instead there would be a special guest referee. A man who has no friends on either side... Marky D. Marky D then came down to ringside and stated that while he would call the match down the middle, nothing would make him happier than to see The Rapture suffer.
